Green Belt is a credential attained by acquiring knowledge amd demonstrated through a project applying Lean Six Sigma methodology. Lean Six Sigma is a hybrid structured problem solving data oriented methodology for process improvement to achieve 3.4 defects per million opportunity. Lean aims at waste reduction while Six Sigma aims at variation reduction.
